Can I use skin moisturizer after Benzoyl Peroxide?
-I applied Benzoyl Peroxide οn mу face, massaging іt fοr two minutes.
-Washed іt οff
-Patted down face wіth towel
Now mу face feels dry. Cаn I рυt moisturizer οn οr wіll іt affect whаt thе Benzoyl dіd?
You should always moisturize after washing your face whether you use benzoyl peroxide or not. Always moisturize with a moisturizer containing SPF.
you may put moisturizer on but make sure it doesnt have any fragrances as that can really irritate the skin after a chemical like BP. Vaseline is a good product.. its safe…. try not to touch your face to much as it may irritate it.
yes you can use moisturizer. but…make sure it is for sensitive skin types so it does not contain irritants after the benzoyl, otherwise you will get a sunburn or just a burn in general. ponds for about $7 and clean and clear for about $12 make decent ones (on the cost effective end) and so does mary kay $40 if you can afford it is totally worth it.
also you do not have to use alot of product to get results. also make sure you are drinkin lots of water because what you put on the inside affects the outside so cut out caffeine and soda! minimize salt and sugar intake. fried food is not your friend if you have acne! also make sure you are cleaning your face with a good cleanser (again clean and clear foaming face wash is about $7 and great for all skin types especially oily!) also that way you won’t need the harsh benzoyl after about a week of good stuff and good habits. change your pillow case often and no no no hands on your face ever! don’t let people kiss you on the face or touch your face. wash your face in the morning and after workouts immediately! and if you do not work out make sure you still wash it at night. use natural hypo allergenic everything on your face and body. if you are a scalp sweater-type use a head and shoulders or some type of medicated shampoo at least once a week so you are not putting scalp bacteria on your forehead! good luck
