What happens if I stopped taking accutane for a week?
I’ve bееn οn accutane fοr 4 months now. I hаνе ѕtοрреd taking accutane fοr a week (fοr nο medical reason) аnd now I’m taking іt again.
Whаt happens If i suddenly ѕtοрреd taking іt?

Nothing. In fact, if you think about it, after your course of medicine, you WILL suddenly stop taking it, and your acne should still stay in check. In addition, for those patients of mine who are experiencing too many aggravating side effects, such as dry lips,arms, etc, I have them get off of the medicine for a few days and then restart, with no "backsliding" occurring.
I have been on for about 2 months… works great I dont have any problems any more… I have a couple of incedents of not being able to go get my prescription refilled for a while.. no backsliding.. no worries.. but I did read online under a section regarding safe sex that the medication is out of you body in around 9 days
I also have issues with accutane. I posted my question on wish123 and got an answer from an expert who solved my problem. Highly recommend the website.
