How bad your acne is, what kind of acne you have, hormones, etc. I'm currently on accutane and my face got worse before it got better. I'm almost up to my fourth month and it's JUST NOW starting to get super clear. Like baby's skin clear. Your face might just continue to get better or it might get worse and then get better again. It all depends. But just because you were on other medications before accutane doesn't mean all the crap is cleared out already. Obviously, because other things didn't work for you. Give it some time to clean it all out. Even if your skin doesn't clear up right away, don't be discouraged. It'll be worth it! You'll immediately have drier skin, which was kinda cool for me actually. My skin's oily and so to NEVER have shine was a plus for me. And every single person I've talked to on this said that their skin was perfect at least by the time they got off their cycle. It really depends on the person.
