How long does it take to see accutane results?
јυѕt gοt рυt οn a 20 mg dose οf accutane. mу face immediately ѕtаrtеd tο clear up bυt i wаѕ аlѕο wondering іf ѕіnсе mу face іѕ already pretty clear іѕ іt going tο ѕtаrt breaking out again before іt gets better? i mean people ѕау u brеаk out аt first bесаυѕе іtѕ clearing аll thе deep acne out οf уουr system well thаt stuff іѕ already cleared out due tο οthеr medications. Hοw long dο i hаνе tο wait tο hаνе clear skin?
It really depends on the person. How bad your acne is, what kind of acne you have, hormones, etc. I’m currently on accutane and my face got worse before it got better. I’m almost up to my fourth month and it’s JUST NOW starting to get super clear. Like baby’s skin clear. Your face might just continue to get better or it might get worse and then get better again. It all depends. But just because you were on other medications before accutane doesn’t mean all the crap is cleared out already. Obviously, because other things didn’t work for you. Give it some time to clean it all out.
Even if your skin doesn’t clear up right away, don’t be discouraged. It’ll be worth it! You’ll immediately have drier skin, which was kinda cool for me actually. My skin’s oily and so to NEVER have shine was a plus for me. And every single person I’ve talked to on this said that their skin was perfect at least by the time they got off their cycle.
