How dry does your skin get when taking accutane?
i’m аbουt tο ѕtаrt accutane, I’m 14 ive hаd severe acne fοr 2and a half years, аnd іt’s bееn hard. I јυѕt don’t want tο ѕhοw up аt school wіth a really flaky face!

I was on two courses of accutane. Your skin gets dry but not to the point of it being flaky. Drink a ton of water (I drink about a gallon a day.) This helps balance out your skins hydration while taking accutane. Use plenty of moisturizer every morning and before you goto bed, really massage it into your face. Cetaphil daily moisturizer is probably the best lotion to use while on accutane; I used it and any dermatologist would recommend it. It’s non comedogenic (won’t clog pores) and feels light, not heavy on your skin.
