Before you go on Accutane, how much blood do you have to give?
I’m аbουt tο gο οn accutane, аnd thе doctor tells mе thаt I hаνе tο give blood before, аnd regularly whіlе I’m οn thе treatment. Hοw much wіll I hаνе tο give? Plus, dοеѕ уουr acne always gеt worse before іt gets better whіlе οn Accutane?

He doesn’t mean a 1 pint blood donation! He means about 10ml at eash test – just a couple of spoonful drawn into a syringe!
I wouldn’t expect the acne to get worse, it should just gradually get better.
You’ll just get a small blood sample taken before you start the drug and once each month while you’re taking it.
It’s quite common for people taking accutane, or undergoing any acne treatment for that matter, to have an initial breakout. Not everyone will break out worse before they start clearing up, though. I didn’t with accutane. Even if you do have an initial breakout, the results will be worth it in the end, so just hang in there.
Not exactly sure on the blood thing. I can’t really remember because that part was really easy. But I just wanted to say good luck and enjoy your beautiful skin!! Accutane was a life-saver for me. I think the acne did get a little worse in the first month, but then it got better and stayed better. I did the treatment about 4 years ago, and I still have nice skin! It’s not completely flawless, but it’s close enough!
Accutane is amazing
