just got put on a 20 mg dose of accutane. my face immediately started to clear up but i was also wondering if since my face is already pretty clear is it going to start breaking out again before it gets better? i mean people say u break out at first because its clearing all the deep acne out of your system well that stuff is already cleared out due to other medications. How long do i have to wait to have clear skin?

So on acne.org, it states that you shouldn’t wash off the benzoyl peroxide cream after it dries….

wth?!

so am i suppose to just leave it on for the entire day and apply moisturizer on top of the benzoyl peroxide, or do I wash it off first and then apply?

Has any of you used it?

I can’t get to the doctor until Monday or Tuesday and was wondering if this would at least help until then? Please don’t judge…..

I received an email from a lawyer office claiming there is a case against the maker of Accutane
(for serious acne), and noted some medical conditions that have been related to its use.
Some of the conditions I could kind of say I have been diagnosed with of recent-pre-colitis and anal drainage issues.

I used Accutane back in the 1980’s when it had just hit the market, I think.

Is this email and supposed lawsuit a hoax or legitimate?

I just got double ear piercings a week ago, and have been cleaning them with the solution I got from Claire’s, where I got the piercings. My mom said to just use benzoyl peroxide instead, are they the same? Or is one better than the other?
yeah, i really didn’t wanna get the piercings done there but my mother wouldn’t take me anywhere else. :/

I’m taking a course of anti-biotics called Doxycycline but have excruciating period pain. Is it safe to take a paracetamol/coedine pain releif pill like feminax?

My face became really clear just from taking birth control, but I started taking accutane less than a week ago and my face is almost totally clear. Will accutane clear up my face 100% or just 70% Because I spent a lot of money on this stuff!

I have a huge red pimple on my chin. Last night I put rubbing alcohol on all of my pimples and all of them are now gone except this one! I have to sleep over at a friend’s house tonight and I don’t want to be seen like this! Any simple quick remedies would be appreciated!!

I know visine is supposed to work but apparently that is only a short term solution. In essence how do i quickly and effectively repair my red skin so it retains its old white colour? And if moisturizers are the answer do i refrain from using benzoyl peroxide, if not how do i incorporate the two?
