Do I need backup birth control during the first month after switching from LoEstrin 1/20 FE to Yaz?

My period started last thursday and wont end until probably tomorrow. Is it ok that I start taking YAZ tomorrow on the last day of my period? Or should I wait?

I was told that starting it on that sunday would just help keep things completely regular and on track. But my periods are slightly irregular anyway..so will it really be a problem if I start it tomorrow?

I’ve been on yaz for 6 months now the last 3 months i’ve been late on getting my time of month. At first it would start 2 days into the white pills now it seems to start a week after i’m back on the pink pills whys it doing this? Is it normal

I’ve always heard people say how much they love Yasmin and until recently I thought it was just a cheaper or generic brand of YAZ. I’m going to see my gynecologist to get put of birth control tomorrow which would you recommend and what are the differences between them?
I’m not interested in any other form of birth control. I’m just trying to figure out what pill is best.

Does it have a calming effect at all? And can you really tell a difference? And if so when can you tell? I get crazy and i need something to help, whether it be anxiety meds or yaz, somethings gotta give…

I am switching from Yasmin to Yaz to hopefully help with my acne. What has your experience been with Yaz? How long until you noticed an improvement of your skin?

I’m currently on Lupron for my endometriosis and I will be going back on Yaz in July. My fiance and I are getting married in May 2010, and at that time I will go off of Yaz and let nature take it’s course. I was just wondering how long it took you to concieve after stopping Yaz. Thanks!!

I am 7 weeks post partum and I asked my doctor to put me on yaz. But I don’t have pmdd or whatever it is. Should I have her switch me to something else or is this a big deal? Is anyone else on it that doesn’t have pmdd either? What do you know about this bc? Any suggestions on better bc?

I want to know how to skip a period on yaz. How do you do it? do you not take the pills i so confused? I been taking yaz for a year.

I have dont A LOT of research and I think YAZ is the best for me …I was wondering if anyone has expericened anything problems with it? Or even has anything good to say about it…My Gynecologist said he thinks its also the best one but I needed to talk it over with my fiancee who is deployed…So any advice?
